Studiocaster

Product

A live-show control surface, not another social inbox.

Studiocaster is built around the decision between a listener message arriving and reaching the microphone. Screen at speed, select what matters and keep a record of what happened.

The workflow

One broadcast workflow, start to finish

Channels are only where messages enter. The product is what happens next: screening, selection, safe hand-off and review.

  1. 01 Your audience

    Messages arrive

Texts, WhatsApps, mentions and direct messages arrive on whichever channel the listener uses. Studiocaster normalises them into one operational stream while preserving their source.

    Multi-channel ingestion

  2. 02 Operator

    The screener decides

Expletive filtering and blacklists have already run. The screener works by keyword, service and priority, dealing with unsafe content and finding what is worth using — with keyboard shortcuts rather than a mouse.

    Live dashboard and content safety

  3. 03 Operator

    The producer selects

What is worth using gets pinned and prioritised for the presenter. If a competition is running, entries are already being collected against its keyword and the state is moving on its own.

    Competitions and voting

  4. 04 Viewer

    The presenter reads

A read-only dashboard shows the screened and pinned messages without exposing moderation or account controls. Nothing can be changed by accident mid-show.

    Accounts and roles

  5. 05 Admin

    The manager reviews

Afterwards: volume over time, top senders, where messages came from, and a full audit trail of who moderated what. Export any of it to CSV.

Capabilities

Everything Studiocaster does

Six capabilities, grouped by the task they serve rather than by how they are built.

Live message dashboard

Find what should go on air next

Every listener message appears in real time in a single stream. Filter by service, keyword, priority or sender, and work the queue with keyboard shortcuts rather than a mouse.

  • Real-time stream across every connected channel
  • Filter by service, keyword, priority or sender
  • Keyboard shortcuts for moderation
  • Pin the messages the presenter needs next

A screener can keep pace with a live show and surface the useful message before the moment passes.

Multi-channel ingestion

Give every channel the same broadcast workflow

SMS, WhatsApp, X, Instagram, Facebook, Telegram and Signal are collected into one stream. Adding a channel does not change how your team works.

  • Seven channels, one operational stream
  • Per-service routing so shows stay separate
  • New channels added without retraining the team

Channels remain visible as context without dictating how the studio team works.

Competitions and voting

Run a live competition without losing control

Competitions trigger on a keyword and move through their states automatically. Draw a winner and watch votes tally live, without leaving the dashboard.

  • Keyword-triggered entry
  • Automated state transitions
  • Winner selection from valid entries
  • Live vote tallies

The producer runs the competition from the same screen as the show.

Content safety

Screen before anything reaches the microphone

Expletive filtering, sender banning and keyword blacklisting run on the incoming stream. Every moderation action is written to an audit trail.

  • Automatic expletive filtering
  • Ban a sender in one action
  • Keyword blacklists per service
  • Every action audited and attributable

A presenter can read from the queue knowing it has been screened.

Search and analytics

Account for what happened after the show

Search every message with advanced filters. Time-series analytics, top senders and country breakdowns show what the audience actually did, and everything exports to CSV.

  • Full message search with advanced filters
  • Time-series volume analytics
  • Top senders and country breakdowns
  • CSV export

A manager can evidence audience response without asking for a report.

Accounts and roles

Give each person exactly what they need

Each station has its own account with Admin, Operator and Viewer roles. Subscription tiers set the feature access and limits that apply to it.

  • Isolated account per station
  • Admin, Operator and Viewer roles
  • Tier-based feature access and limits

A presenter cannot break anything mid-show, because they cannot reach it.

Channels

Seven channels. One broadcast workflow.

Connect the ones your station uses. Each message keeps its source and context, while the operator works one consistent live-show process.

  • SMS

The shortcode texts that still carry most phone-ins.

  • WhatsApp

Voice notes, photos and long messages from the station number.

  • X / Twitter

Mentions and replies aimed at the show.

  • Instagram

Direct messages and comments from the station account.

  • Facebook

Page messages and comments, in the same stream as everything else.

  • Telegram

For audiences who have moved there.

  • Signal

    For contributors who need it.

* Some channels may require a separate subscription that is maintained and paid for by the radio station.

Roles

Access that matches the job

Three roles within each station account. Producers get fast moderation controls, presenters get a safe read-only surface, and managers get configuration and oversight.

Admin Station manager
Runs the account. Sets up services, adds the team, manages billing and settings, and can see everything the station is doing.
Operator Producer or screener
Works the live decision between message received and microphone live. Moderates the stream, surfaces what matters and runs competitions. Cannot manage users, billing or account settings.
Viewer Presenter or observer
Reads what the studio team has screened and pinned, with no moderation or account controls that can be changed by accident during a show. Read-only throughout. Nothing can be edited, deleted or sent.
